Category: 2022 Workshop Dates and Themes

Workshops, or star parties, are free and open to the public. Please note that the events are held “weather permitting”. Announcement of a postponement to the following night or cancellation will be made on facebook.com/sdbhas.

A video related to that evening’s theme will be shown in the outdoor classroom starting between 7:30 and 8:45 P.M. (see the specific workshop night for exact time), and we usually begin observing between 8:15 and 9:30 P.M when the the sky has become dark enough. If you wish to only attend the observing portion of the evening, please arrive well before dark to avoid splashing attendees with headlight beams.
