The night’s program begins at 8:00 p.m. Please arrive early if you need to have your vehicle on the observing field for telescope setup – keep in mind the public often arrive early. The daylight time before the program begins is when the public has an opportunity to walk around the field to become familiar with the arrangement, better see the different telescopes, and ask questions about individual setups.

No need to have your own telescope as members can help welcome the public, join in watching the video usually related to the night’s subject, assist throughout the night, and learn from other members. The public star parties are an opportunity to fulfill our mission of public outreach.
